Attire | I suggest trying to coordinate your clothes instead of everyone wearing the exact same type of outfit. Mix it up a little and have fun but make sure the outfits aren't all over the place as far as patterns and colors go. Stay true to your style but know that the way you're dressed plays a large part in your photos outcome. Try to wear colors that compliment you.

Pre-Session | When booking you'll sign a contract and pay a retainer fee that is equal to 50% of your session cost that will go towards your session total (Bump To Baby packages have a 25% retainer fee). We'll discuss locations, outfits, and any vision you may have. If you have little ones please consider feeding and napping them prior to the shoot so they can enjoy themselves too. I will keep an eye on the forecast the day of your shoot and contact you if the weather will not be permissible for us to continue with things as scheduled. If we must reschedule due to weather we will work together to find the next best possible date!
Please keep in mind that I am an artist with a vision in mind, while I enjoy seeing your pinterest inspiration I am not the type of photographer that enjoys trying to replicate a ton of images you found on pinterest for your entire session. Please only book with me if you trust in my abilities as a photographer to produce a great outcome.
Session | My absolute favorite part! I'll capture a collective mix of posed and candid moments. Don't worry about the posing! I will direct you. I will snap enough photos to insure we capture the image count discussed when booking your session. (Please note that not every photo will be pleasing and may be discarded. Some photos may be blurry, eyes closed, weird facial expressions from moving or talking, etc. So while you may wonder where such and such pose is in your gallery note that I have only supplied the BEST images from your session.) If there are any specific photos you want please make sure to mention them! If we're photographing your child- Remember to relax, smile, and enjoy yourself! They will feed off of your cues. This day should be fun and worry free! The biggest thing to remember is that children will be children. They may become bored, rambunctious, silly, or cranky and that's OKAY! I'm a mother and I will not be judging you one bit on your silly little ones!
Post Session | Following your session I carefully cull the photos to insure only the best images will be produced for your preview gallery. I get rid of any images where there is talking, blinking, movement, etc. Once I've narrowed down to get rid of any images not worthy of the preview gallery I uploaded the images to the preview gallery for the client to select their images. After you select the images for your gallery each image is individually hand edited to reflect my style. Please keep in mind that my edits and shooting style are my brand, and are a direct reflection of my brand and style. If my edits aren’t in line with any vision you have please do not book me as my editing isn’t subject to change based on your thoughts on how the edits should be. I edit only the number of images we discussed when booking your session. I do not produce un-edited images to the clients, as my edits reflect my style and my brand, and any inconsistencies would be confusing for future clients. You are able to purchase additional edited images from your session if you would like. My turn around is up to 6 week from the date you notify me of your selections. This does not mean it will definitely take 6 weeks to edit your session, it means that between shooting your session and the delivery of the completed gallery I am also working on editing sessions ahead of yours as well as shooting and culling new sessions. Once I’ve completed the edits for your session you will receive an email with the link to view your gallery and a link to download your gallery. I do not rush through my edits and put a lot of time into making sure you'll be pleased with the images produced. I do not offer “sneak peeks” which are completed edits posted online, because you’ll see the images from your session in your preview gallery within one week of the session.
